Spay and Neuter Clinic of Norman

• Spay Neuter of Norman is open to all cat and dog owners. There are no income requirements or limitations.  
• Surgery is performed by an experienced Spay and Neuter Veterinarian licensed in Oklahoma, and pre and post op care is provided by experienced veterinary assistants. (meet our staff)
• We use professional surgical supplies from veterinary supply companies like Butler Schein, MWI, Webster, Pfizer, Merial, Merck, Bayer, and First Veterinary Supply.
• We use the highest grade of equipment with heated surgery tables by Shor-line, lifetime German made surgical instruments, and SurgiVet anesthesia monitors to provide the safest and best surgical experience possible.
• We use standard autoclave sterilization equipment by Midmark International, a leader in health care products. 
• We use safe and reliable anesthetic drug combinations, and we have the advantage of having used them thousands of times. 
• We monitor every patient prior to surgery, during surgery, and during recovery.
• We combine 2-3 different kinds of pain medicine to provide optimal pain relief.
• We provide a 24 hour aftercare phone line for surgery patients.
• We use professional cleaning/disinfecting products by 3M as well as household bleach to disinfect everything that has patient contact.

• With surgery, your pet will have the opportunity to receive:
• For dogs, DHPP (Distemper/Parvo) vaccine, Rabies vaccine, 4dx heartworm test by IDEXX, and treatment for hookworms, roundworms,  tapeworms, fleas, and ticks. See our pricing page.
• For cats, FVRCP (feline respiratory) vaccine, rabies vaccine, triple snap leukemia test by IDEXX, and treatment for hookworms, roundworms, tapeworms, fleas, and ticks. See our pricing page. 
• Financial assistance is available through Best Friends of Pets Spay Neuter Assistance Program or SNAP. If you are receiving Medicaid, DHS assistance, or SSI and have an Oklahoma Health Care Authority or Access card you may qualify. Prices may be as low as $20 for dogs and $10 for cats.
